General Rules of Participant Qualification Minimums
If there is only one (1) participant in an age group at an event, that age group will be declared ‘no contest’ and the point count for that age group of that days event will be forfeit for the Grand Prize except in the need to accommodate the tie breaking protocol. However, that participants points will be tallied and qualify them for the Freestyle Freeload cash prize event held at the last race for the three oldest age groups of each division. They will also qualify for that days event prize.
Also in the event that there is only one (1) participant in a specific age group, that person may be placed in the next closest age groups heats but will still only qualify for their original age group prize. They will not receive points toward the Grand Prize for either of the involved age groups and they will not qualify for any prizes of the secondary age group. However, that participants points will be tallied and qualify them for the Freestyle Freeload cash prize event held at the last race for the three oldest age groups of each division.
Any one age group must have at least two (2) participants in two (2) events of a series to qualify for that age groups winner to receive a Grand Prize.
Unclaimed Prizes
All prizes, awards, trophies or medals not claimed at the award ceremony on the day of the event must be claimed at Freestyle in the Mountain Inn within seven (7) days.
Prizes, awards, trophies or medals not claimed within seven (7) days are forfeit and will be put back into Freestyles prize pool.
Unfortunately prizes given with size issues can generally not be traded out. Freestyle and its agents can not trade out prizes for reasons of size, color, brand or any other discrepancy.
